Who are we and what will we do?

- The RSC is NOT a commercial or professional training organisation
- We are a group of community minded people who aim to teach children of the International Community in Rheindahlen Garrison to swim
- We are not paid to do this; we are dedicated volunteers who give our time freely
- Many of us do not have children in the RSC
- We strive to produce the best training that we can
- We will be welcoming, helpful and polite at all times
- We will inform members of any alterations or shortfalls prior to admission
- We will be easily recognised and dressed in a corporate T-shirt bearing the Club's logo
- We will be trained and qualified to ASA standards, the UK 's governing body for swimming, to ensure your child's safety at all times

What standards can I expect?

- We will make sure that our equipment is safe and operational, and we will take immediate action to rectify any faults when they are discovered
- We will provide accurate up-to-date information about our activities
- We will liaise closely with the Hallenbad staff and other interested parties to ensure that our training is delivered in as safe environment as possible

What is our commitment to Equal Opportunities and Child Protection?

- We treat all members fairly and without discrimination
- We regularly review and improve our service to ensure that they meet current equality standards
- We are all vetted by the Army Welfare Service and Criminal Record Bureau

How can you help us to improve?

- We aim to get things right first time and to produce good quality training, but things can go wrong. If they do, we need to know so that we can put them right and to learn from our mistakes
- If you are unhappy with our approach or think that we have failed to meet our standards, talk to the Duty Officer who will endeavour to resolve issues as they arise
- If you are not content with how the Duty Officer handled the problem or you still feel that the outcome is not as you would wish, you should make a written complaint rather than distract training staff when they are busy poolside
- We will acknowledge all written complaints within 7 working days and provide a full response within 28 working days
- Make use of our comment/request/suggestion/complaint card or Email facility to interact with the RSC staff
- We would also welcome any positive feedback which you may have to let us know when we are doing things right
- Observe our health and safety guidelines contained in our Constitution, these are designed to ensure the safety, comfort and enjoyment of your children
- Ensure that your children's behaviour whilst they are present at the Hallenbad does not does not affect safety or cause offence
